St. Paul UCC in Hermann has been a lighthouse to the community since 1844. We plan to continue in this role, expanding what we offer to meet ever changing needs. Please call if you have questions about what we offer, our future plans or history.

St. Paul Church was organized officially on November 24, 1844 through the union of two distinct German Protestant churches. The Congregation remained independent until 1901, when it formally united with the German Evangelical Synod of North America, a denomination of both Reformed and Lutheran Heritage. This denomination later merged with the German Reformed Church to compose the Evangelical and Reformed Church. In turn, this church merged with the Congregational and Christian Church to form the United Church of Christ.
